Colorverse First Moon Landing Ink Set

Colorverse is the latest brand of ink to hit the market. They are based out of South Korea. Instantly popular with their unique colors and packaging. They pair two colors that will match/contrast nicely. One is a larger 65mL bottle, while the smaller is 15mL. Their inks are designed to maintain a pH 7-8 balance. Treating the ink for hydration and antibacterial properties prevents the ink from drying or deteriorating easily in a fountain pen. Colorverse picks unique themes for each pairing of inks. And for instance, this most recent theme is a limited edition. Commemorating the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11’s first moon landing, is the appropriately named Colorverse First Moon Landing Ink Set.

Included in this set is 5 bottles of ink and one pen rest. Above all, the main bottle is called “Apollo 11”. An impressive 65mL means you’ll be writing for quite some time! I like how it’s a nice shade of blue – great for everyday use.

Then you’re treated to four smaller (15mL) bottles of more unique shades. The one called “One Small Step” is a grey. It makes sense to me for a theme involving the moon to have grey ink in the mix.

Next up is called “Columbia”. That’s a darker shade of red. Followed by “Eagle”, which is more of a turquoise. Finally, “Tranquility Base” is a darker green.

Upon opening the box, you’re treated to fun facts, information, and even a quote. These line the underside of the top and side box flaps. Right away you are greeted by three of the 15mL bottles and the pen rest. All four items secure safely in a foam tray. They display neatly, and consequently remove easily.

However, the next layer brings official paperwork, limited edition card certificate, and a Colorverse napkin (meant to be blotter paper?).

Finally, the bottom layer consists of the “Apollo 11” ink and the remaining 15mL bottle.

That is to say you can get your Colorverse First Moon Landing Ink Set here.
