A really great pen!

I am enjoying my Aurora 88, black satin fountain pen, with a fine nib. The satin finish looks classy and feels good in the hand. The rose gold nib, band and clip make it stand out. It is not a clone of the common black and gold pens. The fine nib is wider than many fines, and that suits me just fine. There is a touch of feedback to the nib — less than Sailor nibs, but more than many others. The piston works well. I’m happy with my purchase.

I watched the You Tube reviews but till you hold one it’s not the same. Love the click when closing the pen. It has a large number 6 nib and writing is an experience with this pen in a good way. Depending on your preference the ink is slightly broad with a medium nib. No scratchiness and the ink flow is consistent. Wish there was a click when posting but it’s good enough as is and remains posted . Girthy but no overly heavy as I bought the Factory model and no slippage when writing. Very cool well crafted pen. Bertram’s Inkwell delivered quickly with a nice handwritten thank you note so support small business if you can. Thanks Mark G
