I am a newbie to the fountain pen world, yet my collection is growing quickly! 😄
I wanted to have an all black fountain pen, and this was the perfect addition and I love writing with it!!!

I wasn't lining up to buy this pen, but it worked out very well. I already had a an Invincia, and so I changed the nibs on each pen, the Impreza came with a Broad and switched it with the Invincia.
Very nice change that surprised me. Both pens write well. I can even put shimmering ink in it and has not gunked up. I am liking the Monteverdes alot.
Bertams was out of stock after I ordered and went out of their way to get me one.

This is my first Retro 51. I was not too interested in them. Had too many rollerballs as it is. When i saw this particular pen, the design was astounding, because the design looked like tooled leather or a nice design of a boot design. I had not looked at the other designs except the colorful ones that looked like plastic washi tape on most of the designs. Not this one. it actually has ridges etched in the design. I am not sure how long I stared at this pen in awe of it's looks.
If Fountain Pens looked like this...WHEW!!! I was greatful to be able to get the last one before sold out. And thanks to Bertrams for fulfilling my order and shipped fast. BTW the pen writes really well. Will be on the lookout for more like this.

I really love the way this writes and the golden sparkle that shows up when it hits the light. A very unique ink that I'm excited to have in my collection.

Favorite ink I’ve ever used and the waterproofness is no joke!!! I need to get the full range so that ill never have to deal with smuged ink from accidental water droplets getting on my journal and messing it up.

I purchased an Esterbrook Estie Avalanche edition pen from Bertram Inkwell online. The site is well laid out and easy to use, they shipped quickly, and upon arrival I found a special edition ink bottle tucked in my box for free. The pen works well and writes so smoothly. Thanks for making my first estie experience a great one.

I like the locking mechanism for the piston fill and the screw cap. Very little evaporation and the nib doesn’t dry out because of the crew cap — important because I live in the desert. Writes smoothly.
