Bertram's Inkwell Ink Syringe
In the world of fountain pens, one of the most important things we can consider is how we fill them with ink. For instance, if you have a fountain pen that fills with a proprietary cartridge or converter, and it doesn’t usually hold much ink, then it’s important to have an alternative solution for ink usage maximization. This handy device allows you to reduce the amount of air left in your cartridge or converter.
Secondly, this ink syringe makes it so much easier to get every last drop of ink out of the bottle. No more holding the bottle of ink at awkward angles to try and get at the ink. Not that any of us have a shortage of ink to need to worry about getting those last drops, haha! But regardless, should the need arise, your Bertram’s Inkwell Ink Syringe will get those hard-to-reach parts of ink. Speaking of “every last drop”, another great use of this syringe is being able to transfer the last drops of a bottle of ink into a fresh new bottle.
Importantly, the tip of the syringe is blunt and not pointy or sharp. This means you’re a lot less likely to hurt yourself accidentally. It’s got a 3.6cm, 18-gauge Luer-Lok Tip dispensing needle, and a 3mL barrel for a large amount of ink capacity. Notably, when you’re not using the syringe, it’s easy to store. Simply unscrew the needle, and store it right next to the barrel for portability or storage.
