Bexley Pocket Pro Fountain Pen
Share
The latest and greatest from Bexley Pen Co. has hit the shelves! This fun-size pen packs as much power in it’s smaller dimensions as a full-sized fountain pen! The smaller Bexley Pocket Pro fountain pen makes it so much more portable. It even comes with a clip to fit in those smaller shirt pockets!
Five eye catching colors can make choosing one or two difficult. The pens are formatted with Bexley’s own gold-plated steel nibs. They’re available in three sizes: fine, medium, and broad. Bexley may have equipped the Pocket Pro with Monteverde’s mini slide converters, as the pens are too small to hold a Schmidt k-5 converter. Standard international ink cartridges work well in the pens as well. I think the colors Howard chose for the collection are spot on!
With names like Tec Black, Ox Blood, Water and Lava, Midnight Candy, and Old Amber, ya gotta wonder what they were drinking at the company naming meeting that Friday afternoon! Each pen comes neatly gift-boxed with Bexley warranty and registration certificate.
The Bexley Pocket Pro Water and Lava (pictured above) is probably my favorite of the 5 colors. It brings visions of lava oozing off the mountains of Hawaii into the cold Pacific waters. Also the most original new pen material out there right now as well.
The Tec Black is a really cool finish. This pen gets the Tec name due to the black material having a matted and brushed feel to it. It looks like something a Special-Ops guy would use out in the field.
The Old Amber color has mesmerized me. Looking deep into the rich Amber material, you would think there might be a 10,000 year old bug stuck inside.
It would have been easy to call this one Blue Swirl or Blue Lightning. Instead, the Bexley boys went for Midnight Candy. This is a close tie for my favorite (the Water and Lava). Though, I must say I’m not seeing this as Midnight Candy. That said, it’s a beautiful deep and rich blue with swirls of white veins and dark blue/purple ribbons. Love it!
