It’s made with high-quality craftsmanship to last ages. The pencil pouch material is waxed canvas called Martexin. There’s also some oiled black leather on the zipper’s pull, grip tab, and the label that says “Blackwing”. The zipper is a really strong Talon zipper. This Blackwing pencil case looks like it can really take a beating.
Lastly, the case is so easy to carry. It’s compact enough to fit in your smallest everyday bag. It’s also easy just to hold in your hand and carry without a bag. Portability is key. To summarize, I love not worrying about damaging this case from everyday use. It’s truly designed to work for you – the writer, the artist, the creative mind.
