Conklin All American Turquoise Serenity Collection
Some names just easily roll off the tongue. The Conklin All American Turquoise Serenity Collection is among them. Take one look at this pen after adding it to your collection, and I bet you’d feel immediately at peace with the world. The Conklin All American Turquoise Serenity Collection is very appropriately named. I feel like pictures don’t even do this pen collection justice. It’s hard to digitally capture the true beauty of the Turquoise Serenity. Getting lost in its color, you’re immediately transported to a calm, tranquil mental beach where the peaceful turquoise color frees your mind to have easy creative flow with your writing.
Firstly, the size of both the fountain pen and ballpoint are impressive. They are appropriately hefty for their size, and sit so comfortably in the hand. I like how versatile the Conklin All American collection is since it feels great to use these pens regardless of whether your hands are larger or smaller. In addition, these pens definitely stand out and reflect your style and personality.
Secondly, like the other All American fountain pens, this also uses a standard international size cartridge/converter filling system. In addition, I’ve got my Conklin All American Turquoise Serenity fountain pen filled with matching Monteverde Caribbean Blue bottled ink. Importantly, the JoWo nib is a great writer, and it is available in all nib size options: extra fine, fine, medium, broad, stub, and Omniflex.
Notably, the ballpoint still uses the Monteverde Parker Style ballpoint or gel refills that I enjoy so much. I’d recommend using the Monteverde Turquoise Gel refill to match your ballpoint. Moreover, as a side note, even though the gel refills are labeled fine point, I feel like they write somewhere between a fine and a medium point since they produce a nice, thicker line. Therefore, the turquoise would look beautiful coming from it. As usual, the ballpoint employs a smooth twist-action retraction for easy use.
