Diamine InkVent Bottled Ink Collection
Share
Last December, Diamine came out with something truly fun for Christmas. They created an Inkvent Calendar for the days in December leading up to Christmas. Each day would be met with a smaller 7 mL bottle of new ink colors. Finally, Christmas Day reveals your biggest gift of the larger size 30 mL bottle of ink. That was such a hit that now the Diamine InkVent Bottled Ink collection is available for everyday use.
The Diamine InkVent bottled ink has 25 colors in the series. As you might imagine, the theme of these colors are Christmas related. This also means there are 25 creative corresponding names for each color. These are the same names and colors as the Inkvent Calendar. Yet unlike the Inkvent Calendar from December, these are all 50 mL size in a large premium glass bottle.
Definitely worth noting is that this ink collection has four different types of ink in it. There are 12 standard colors, six sheening colors, four colors that shimmer, and finally, three colors that shimmer AND sheen.
The standard colors are as follows: Fire Embers, Candy Cane, Triple Chocolate, Ho Ho Ho, Mistletoe, Nutcracker, Elf, Mulled Wine, Poinsettia, Gingerbread, Roasted Chestnut, and Purple Bow. The sheening colors are: Noel, Polar Glow, Festive Cheer, Season’s Greetings, Holly, and Midnight Hour. The shimmering inks are: Blue Peppermint, Snow Storm, Gold Star, and Solstice. Last but not least, the shimmering and sheening inks are: Winter Miracle, Jack Frost, and Happy Holidays.
Personally, I’ve never been a big fan of the shimmering inks because the silver or gold color particles remind me of glitter too much. However, I know many people are fans of the glittery look. All the standard colors are nice. And I’m really excited about the sheening inks. I love the effect of slightly changing colors they have when reflecting in the light.
New inks are always fun to play with. And I love Christmas time and all the holiday cheer that comes with it. So, having that same feeling come around early this year by combining both, is a wonderful treat!
