We all lead busy lives, right? It makes sense that in the everyday “hustle & bustle” of life, we need organization to keep track of the important things. So many organizational systems exist for you to choose from, and many of them come with a predetermined format that can sometimes feel… lacking. What better way to fix that, than with the new Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journal Edition 2? It’s equipped to maximize personalization to your daily scheduling and other Bullet Journaling needs. You may already be familiar with Leuchtturm1917’s A5 Hardcover Journals (see my review of those here).
First of all, I’m impressed with the paper weight of the Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journal Edition 2. At 120 g/sqm, this paper will withstand wetter ink and broader nibs. I like how the thicker paper makes for a lower transparency rate. It’s smoother surface also provides a more pleasurable writing experience overall.
Secondly, the format is wonderful. What I mean by this is: the medium A5 size is perfect for all your needs. And portability is key with an organization system. The mid-size nature of this Bullet Journal makes it easy to take notes and edit your to-do lists on the go. In addition, the hardcover helps with durability. No need to worry about bending this journal.
In terms of color choices, so far Leuchtturm1917 created two: Black and Blush (a light pink). But even though that’s not nearly as wide of a color range as their hardcover journals, it’s what’s on the inside that matters, right? For example, Leuchtturm1917 attached three page dividers for easy page grouping. And even though the ruling is dotted, there is still a grid guide on the inside cover.
Importantly, this Bullet Journal comes with a whopping numbered 206 pages. The numbered pages make it easy for indexing. In addition to the aforementioned pages, there’s a built-in space for the index and Future Log. There’s even a detachable Bullet Journal pocket guide for added assistance.
Finally, who doesn’t love stickers? The Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journal Edition 2 comes complete with stickers for labeling and archiving, and much more. Some of the stickers feature days of the week, and months. But the possibilities are vast for personalizing these stickers to your needs.
