Visconti Rembrandt S Lavender Pen Collection

Visconti Rembrandt S Lavender Pen Collection

Visconti’s Rembrandt collection is a colorful workhorse of a pen. I love how many color options it’s available in. This Visconti Rembrandt S Lavender Pen Collection pays tribute to Rembrandt’s painting “Landscape with a Stone Bridge” or “The Stone Bridge” (1638). In this painting, the viewer finds themselves immersed in a calm rural landscape. They witness a romantic evening scene of the sun setting behind a stone bridge. Here, the artist’s palette captures the waning golden light as reflected in the water beneath the bridge. Notably, this is offset by the delicate lavender strokes of the unlit water in the foreground.

First of all, this exciting addition to the Rembrandt-S collection, the Visconti Rembrandt S Lavender Pen Collection, combines the sense of elegance and tranquility. It features a beautiful variegated lavender body that evokes the soothing calm of Rembrandt’s water. Similarly, this is like the scent of lavender, while the bronze accents add a touch of the sophistication and warmth of his sunset.

Secondly, Visconti uses a unique mixture of variegated resin resulting in a swirl of light and dark colors reminiscent of Rembrandt’s famous painting technique. Visconti has mastered this technique by selecting colorful resins with brush-like strokes that make each and every pen unique, a true masterpiece in its own right. The collection is enhanced by the latest color: Lavender mixed with marbleized brush strokes of bronze, white, and black resin.

Finally, the Rembrandt S is available in fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint. Above all, fountain pen features the new, large size steel nib made by Schmidt Germany and will be offered in Fine, Medium and Broad nib sizes. In addition, it fills easily via standard international size cartridge or converter filling system. I recommend filling it with Monteverde’s Purple Mist Bottled Ink. As for the rollerball, it uses Schmidt’s 888 or 5888 rollerball refills. However, both types of pen employ a magnetic cap closure system. Lastly, the ballpoint is equipped with a smooth twist-action retraction mechanism. Easily refill it with Monteverde’s Parker Style ballpoint or gel refills.
