Conway Stewart Elegance Revolution Prototype Limited Edition Fountain Pen, 2010

The Conway Stewart Elegance Revolution prototype is crafted in solid sterling silver with a beautiful new engraving pattern that departs from Conway Stewart's past use of repeating geometric guilloche style engraving. Instead, the Revolution embraces an energetic mix of colors and shapes in an exciting linear pattern of jagged rectangles and asymmetrical shapes, each accented by delicate angled lines visible under the translucent enamel.

The exclusive enamel designs featured on the Elegance model was hand crafted at their factory in Devon, England from rods of solid sterling silver. Each pen is carefully engraved with intricate patterns and further accented with a hand applied rich enamel by award winning craftsman Robert Glover, whose work has been published in numerous industry titles and who is the recipient of many notable awards and presentations.

Opalescent Cherry Red, Lush Green, and vibrant Sunset Yellow combine to make this a visually stunning masterpiece of the engraver's and enameller's art. At first glance, it is a visual melange of light and shape, but within a short time, the subtle pattern emerges, dazzling the senses each time the Revolution is turned in the hand.

The hallmarked solid sterling silver construction of cap, barrel and front section are set off with the popular 18 carat gold nib, accented with rhodium plating and available in Medium grade. Ink is delivered via the reliable converter cartridge system. Every attention to detail has been taken to ensure that this prototype is not only a visually perfect pen, but one ideally suited for everyday use.

The Elegance Revolution has an ergonomic shape, slightly tapered and is a mid sized pen that rests perfectly in the hand, a perfect harmony of balance and elegance for ease of writing.
