This item was created exclusively for the Asian market. It is made from black precious resin and features 18-karat solid gold fittings, along with a dragon clip adorned with jeweled eyes. The pen has never been used with ink. Additionally, it comes with a complete set of packaging and documentation, including the outer sleeve, outer box, display box, international service certificate, reply card, and personal service card.

For generations, dragons—unlike any other mythical creatures—have captivated people, especially in the Far East. These awe-inspiring, fire-breathing beings symbolize power, goodwill, and wisdom. Dragons have also served as a source of inspiration, playing a central role in classic works by fantasy literature authors. The Writers Limited Edition Imperial Dragon pen brings this magnificent creature to life and illustrates why the dragon has fascinated people for centuries.

This variant of the Agatha Christie pen was created specifically for the Asian market. It features black precious resin and a clip made of 750 solid yellow gold, with the dragon's eyes set with sapphires. This fountain pen is both appealing and iconic, with a medium (M) 18K two-tone nib adorned with a dragon motif.

The pen comes with all original boxes and papers, including a book box, outer box, white outer sleeve, international service certificate, reply card, and personal service card. It is in mint condition and has never been inked. Fully functional and ready to write, it uses a piston filling mechanism.

Take special note:
Following the success of the Hemingway pen in 1992—the first Montblanc in the Writers Limited Edition series—Montblanc launched a new model in 1993 dedicated to the English novelist Agatha Christie, inspired by the classic style of the early 1920s. Two versions were released: one in 925 solid silver and another in 925 Vermeil. In the same year, Montblanc created a special version for the Eastern market, featuring an intricately designed dragon clip. This version came in both a 925 silver option and a limited 750 solid gold version, with only 888 pieces produced worldwide. Today, over 30 years later, these pens are highly sought after by Montblanc collectors globally. The value of these writing instruments, particularly those in perfect condition and complete with all original packaging and documentation, continues to rise significantly.
