The olympic games were founded on the ideal of fair competition and in the belief that the spirit should be cultivated in parallel with the maximum possible development of the body. The first 13 Olympiads featured only one event, the onestadium race. This remained the most prestigious event despite all the others added in later times.
The pen features a depiction of three runners as its motif, which was taken from an historical terracotta amphora. The cap and filler knob of the pen are also terracotta red coloured - giving a nod to the pen's inspiration piece.
It was released in 1998, and just 776 pens were available. This edition is sold out!
